The Merlin Engineering ® Gerotor Oil Pump provided increased oil supply and return. All gerotor pumps are nearly unaffected by heat and oil viscosity and do not lose oil pressure as they get older. Nearly every race motor ever made uses one or more gerotor oil pumps. The Merlin oil pump return was so efficient that it not only increased the oil supply and scavenging in the motor, but also improved the breathing system and increased horsepower. The increased oil flow through the motor also enables less heat build up and reduced engine wear.
